About
Misha Coleman is currently completing an MSIS at the University of Texas at Austin School of Information, focusing on digital librarianship and archival practice. She is a graduate research assistant in UT Libraries Digital Stewardship department, working on digitization and digital preservation projects. She also has experience as a teaching assistant in the iSchool's introductory programming course and is passionate about building welcoming technical communities.
Prior to attending UT, she received a BA in Hispanic Studies from Macalester College and has worked as a software developer and as a medical interpreter. Due to a childhood of pop culture deprivation, Misha developed a number of antique pastimes like knitting, playing ten point pitch, and exploring the world by bike.
